Reconnect. Regulate. Restore.
About This Training
Grief shows up in almost every clinical room. And yet most of us received very little training on how to actually sit with it.
How to recognize its many forms across different ages and life stages. How to support the rituals and meaning-making that help people integrate loss. How to be genuinely present without getting pulled into our own unprocessed grief in the room.
This training is designed to change that.
What You Will Learn
In This Training
How to identify and understand the many expressions of client grief across different life stages — including ambiguous loss, anticipatory grief, and disenfranchised grief
The role of ritual in grief processing and how to support clients in creating or reclaiming meaningful practices
How meaning-making works somatically — and why it is so central to helping clients integrate loss
How to stay regulated and present with a grieving client without suppressing your own response
Practical interventions you can bring into session immediately
Sound Familiar?
This Is for You If...
01
You are a therapist, counselor, or social worker who works with clients experiencing loss in any form

You feel underprepared when grief shows up in unexpected forms — the losses that do not have a funeral or a clear name
03
You want CEUs that actually make you a better clinician, not just check a box
04
You are ready for training that is experiential and embodied, not just didactic
Grief is one of those areas where I think most of us quietly feel underprepared. I am really glad to be bringing Saramaria into this space.
